YOUTH LEAGUE BASEBALL

INTRODUCTION -- Level I (Ages 4 to 10):  YOUTH LEAGUE BASEBALL

There are going to be 11.5 million youth league players starting out their “careers” playing “The Great American Game of Baseball” this next year.  Eleven million children will drop out or quit after the first 2 or 3 years (or by the time they reach 12 years old). Many youngsters will continue playing and will be among the 412,900 students who play high school baseball, or may be among the 19,700students who play college baseball, and possibly among the 650 athletes who play professional baseball. Maybe your child won’t be good enough to play college or professional; but why not give them the opportunity to try.  You can provide your child with that opportunity by reading any of the books from "THE BACKYARD" Coaching series of Baseball Books for Parents. You don't have to be a former athlete, or having played the game before, or know anything about BASEBALL! IF YOU can READ, you're in! We have designed this series of books so that ANYBODY can learn and coach these fundamentals -- to your child.
