Yes, it is absolutely critical that we develop the strongest knowledge base possible; as you, the student, need to be an active learner, constantly striving to improve the quality of that knowledge base. But also, to almost fanatically work to improve your means of motivating yourself and working to understand your own needs in your ever-changing world.

We wrote this book for YOU, the students.  I wanted to leave a kind of legacy for our students. To allow them to learn and become whatever they desire to become – a doctor, lawyer, engineer, teacher, nurse, etc.  The unquestionable idea is that they can do, or become, whatever they want to be, or do!  Finding the “right” habits of work, desire, character, goal setting, time management, are the MOST IMPORTANT items they need to focus on. And finding the “good” habits and recognizing the “bad” habits, and connecting to and hooking on with the “good” habits that will take them to success in the classroom; to success in a career, and to succeed in life!

THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT

SUCCESS IN THE CLASSROOM HANDBOOK

Look Inside
Introduction & Chapter 1

This book was written out of a “love for my students” and a desire to make them the BEST that they can be.  The book was written to deliver to the student the most important things they need to succeed in the classroom, provide you with the motivation to be able to use these items and to provide a little history of “Famous Celebrity Scholars” that graduated from college.

God help us that we can find the means to motivate every student to want to achieve this goal!  I often have shared with younger teachers that the fine art of teaching is not the content (the knowledge) -- but the ability to MOTIVATE!  (I always told my Student Teachers that, “A monkey can teach math, but only you can motivate the students to want to learn? Motivation is the key to successful education!”)
