1. YOUTH LEAGUE BASEBALL for Parents --COACHING YOUR CHILD
Youth League Baseball For Parents -- Coaching Your Child: focuses on getting your child the basic skills of baseball -- playing at the YOUTH LEAGUE LEVEL -- Level I (Ages 4 to 9). You will see through the SKETCHES how to THROW and CATCH a baseball; how to catch a grounder and a fly ball; learn the athletic stance; how to SLIDE, slide & glide, and run & slide. You will see how to hit the baseball; how to coach your child the HITTING STANCE, the SWING, and DRILLS to make it easy to teach/coach. If you decide that you want to coach your child's team, then we help you with practice planning, line-ups, and how to prepare for a game. You'll love it and you will have fun!
2. THE YOUTH LEAGUE PITCHER
The Youth League Pitcher will provide the mechanics for your child the proper mechanics to be able to successfully PITCH the baseball from the pitcher's mound. We get you the Fundamentals of Throwing the Baseball, the Fundamentals of Pitching (from the Stretch Motion), and the DRILLS necessary to teach and maintain proper mechanics. You will learn about the GEOMETRY of the Pitching Motion and "The Three Planes of Pitching". You will be excited about the confidence your child generates in themselves.
3. THE YOUTH LEAGUE HITTER
The book: The Youth League Hitter, provides you with the beginning skills of hitting a baseball. We look at the HITTER's STANCE through SKETCHES. We analyze the SWING, we discover DRILLS that teach the proper mechanics of hitting. We show you how to practice until your child has the CONFIDENCE to "hit the baseball" off a Hitting "T"; hit a "thrown baseball" in drill; and hit a "pitched baseball" in practice or a game. This has often been said, "The hardest skill to learn in sports is Hitting a Baseball." You will discover that it is easier than you think. You will enjoy!
